The Abt Associates Inc AIDSTAR Sector II team includes: Abt Associates Inc, Banyan Global, CARE, Crown Agents Consultancy, EnCompass, Forum One Communications, Global Business Solutions Inc., Global Health Action, Instituto Nacional de Salud Pública, KMS Global, and Management Systems International. The team has demonstrated international experience in capacity building and training of institutions and individuals in HIV/AIDS-related activities. The team is uniquely qualified, regionally positioned, and strategically responsive to the needs of USG clients and local stakeholders to achieve PEPFAR capacity building goals. The team brings top notch expertise in all five function areas covered by AIDSTAR Sector II: management systems; program monitoring and coordination; network and linkages; management strengthening of Global Fund country-level institutions; and technical leadership and knowledge management. Our team brings together internationally renowned institutions with a record of collaboration to deliver high quality results on schedule and within budget.

The Abt AIDSTAR Sector II team includes a range of core and specialized partners that provide both technical expertise and institutional strengthening of in-country partners for long-term sustainability. Our team includes:

  • Abt Associates Inc. – provides expertise in health systems, management systems, program monitoring and coordination and capacity building for HIV/AIDS.

  • Banyan Global – brings expertise in health sector capacity building, institutional strengthening, NGO sustainability, business, finance and management training and systems development, private sector development, provider networks, health financing and public private partnerships.

  • CARE – strengthens management and networking systems of local organizations and governments and builds capacity on community mobilization and integration, education, economic development, and advocacy.

  • Crown Agents Consultancy – provides leadership in procurement and supply chain logistics for local organizations and government agencies.

  • EnCompass – enhances management systems of local governments and NGOs and builds capacity to combat discrimination and stigma.

  • Forum One Communications – plans and supports the implementation of Web technologies and social networking tools to foster communication, collaboration, and programmatic innovation.

  • Global Business Solutions Inc. – builds capacity in procurement and logistics

  • Global Health Action – enhances capacity of NGOs, faith-based organizations and government agencies in the areas of organizational management and planning, program development and management, networking, and collaborative partnerships.

  • Instituto Nacional de Salud Pública – conducts economic evaluations, capacity building interventions, and training programs in various areas, including cost-effectiveness, impact evaluation, strategic planning, resource allocation, and the use of strategic information.

  • KMS Global – strengthens M&E capacity and systems (performance monitoring, management information, data management, data utilization, etc.) of local organizations and government representatives.

  • Management Systems International – strengthens local organizations and governments and builds capacity on mainstreaming and gender considerations
