Futures Group International specializes in the design and implementation of public health and social programs for developing countries. We have worked closely with USAID for more than 30 years to foster an enabling policy environment for high-quality and sustainable Family Planning and Reproductive Health, HIV/AIDS, and maternal health programs. We have implemented programs and activities in policy development and advocacy, communications and social marketing, health research, program evaluation, and computer-based modeling and forecasting to accomplish USAID’s health-focused goals.

We have worked in more than 100 countries in Africa, Asia and the Near East, Europe and Eurasia, and Latin America and the Caribbean. In addition to our work with USAID, we have implemented projects for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, U.K. Department for International Development, International AIDS Vaccine Initiative, World Bank, and UN agencies.

Futures Group International employs more than 400 people worldwide who work collaboratively with in-country counterparts. We are committed to helping countries and communities build local capacity and ensure the sustainability of programs. We have extensive experience creating public-private partnerships and building the capacity of NGOs and faith-based organizations. Our staff are experts in disciplines such as public policy, economics and health finance, medicine, law and human rights, gender, monitoring and evaluation, public health, demography, and communications.

Futures Group International can help clients with:

  • Strengthening in-country capacity to participate in policymaking, fostering sustainability of policies and programs, and ensuring accountability for policy implementation.
  • Facilitating the achievement of public health and social development goals.
  • Using marketing principles to promote ideas, attitudes, and behaviors and to stimulate commercial market growth for health products and services.
  • Facilitating evidenced-based policy and program decision making through appropriate research and evaluation methodologies, ensuring that programs deliver results.
  • Designing software applications and computer models to support effective policymaking, analyze strategic
information, and determine the impact of specific programs.
