About TASC3
TASC3 allows USAID Missions and Bureaus to easily access quality technical assistance and support for their activities in maternal and child health, nutrition, infectious diseases, and HIV/AIDS. TASC3 works worldwide and has two separate tiers of contractors.
- The first tier, TASC3-Global Health, contains 15 prime contractors and numerous subcontractors, covering the entire spectrum of USAID-supported health, infectious diseases, and population areas.
- The second tier, TASC3-HIV/AIDS research, known as Project SEARCH, contains five prime contractors and a score of subcontractors, specializing in HIV/AIDS research activities.
Assistance procured through a task order with any one of the TASC3 prime contractors can be long-term or intermittent, depending on Mission or Bureau requirements. Task orders awarded under TASC3 can extend up to 36 months beyond the end date of the contract, as long as they are awarded before that end date. Task orders are developed, awarded and managed by the requesting unit (the USAID Mission or Bureau). The Global Health Bureau in Washington provides guidance and assistance when requested (please send the request to the CTO/TA).
TASC3 provides resources and guidelines for Missions and contractors to carry out the necessary processes for the procurement of task orders under this IQC. The combination of prime and subcontractors available under the two TASC3 tiers provides a diverse mix of talents, skills, and experience as well as opportunities to work with many new partners. TASC3 also includes small business set asides among its prime contractors and many more among its subcontractors.
