The Abt TASC3 Team includes: Abt Associates, Banyan Global, Broad Branch Associates, CARE, Global Business Solutions, Inc., Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Center for Communication Programs, Johns Hopkins Center for Clinical Global Health Education, Logistics Management Institute, MD Informatics, and O'Hanlon Health Consulting. Our team is uniquely qualified, regionally positioned, and dedicated to supporting USAID Missions and Bureaus to implement strategic objectives that contribute to improved global health outcomes in population, health, nutrition and infectious diseases. In order to meet this objective, the Abt Team brings top-notch capabilities in all six of the functional areas TASC3 is expected to cover, including: service delivery, health policy reform, community mobilization and behavior change, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building, and commodity systems management. Additionally, the Abt-led team offers:

  • Abt Associates Inc. is at the forefront of strengthening health systems worldwide, with core expertise in health policy, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building, and supplementary skills in community mobilization and service delivery.

  • Banyan Global is a small, women-owned development consulting firm, with expertise in capacity building, private sector, and gender in development.

  • Broad Branch Associates is a new woman-owned small business founded by Rena Eichler with expertise in health policy, particularly in the area of health financing.

  • CARE, one of the world's leading relief and development organizations with over 60 years of international experience, will provide technical leadership to the team in service delivery, and provide skills in capacity building, community mobilization and behavior change.

  • Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health brings specialized expertise to the team from its renowned Center for Communication Programs (CCP), which is a global leader in behavior change communication and community mobilization.

  • Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine's Center for Clinical Global Health Education (CCGHE) is a center of excellence in clinical care and research capacity building and training.

  • Logistics Management Institute (LMI), a not-for-profit government consulting firm with more than 40 years of experience, is one of the world's most advanced logistics consulting groups and will lead the team's efforts in commodity systems management.

  • O'Hanlon Health Consulting, Inc. is a woman-owned small business specializing in family planning and reproductive health policy development and program implementation.
