CAMRIS International leads a team of global health industry leaders in this TASC3 small business set-aside IQC. CAMRIS is also a certified SDB, 8(a) and SDVOB firm.

The CAMRIS Team brings proven and recognized technical and management capabilities to help support USAID Missions and Bureaus to implement the Agency's strategic objectives in the areas of population, health, nutrition, and infectious diseases. The CAMRIS Team includes: Global Flu Consortium, International Youth Foundation, JHPIEGO, LTG Associates, Inc., Medical Missions for Children, National Alliance of State and Territorial AIDS Directors, Public Health Institute, Safe Blood International Foundation, Tulane University's Payson Center for International Development and Technology Transfer, University of the Pacific School of International Studies, University Research Co., West African Health Organization, and World Learning for International Development.

We offer a diverse, worldwide network of highly effective organizations, configured to provide a full range of technical services and resources to assist USAID and local counterparts with rapid, cost effective, flexible, state-of-the-art quality technical assistance in: family planning and reproductive health, maternal and child health (MCH), child survival and health (CSH), HIV/AIDS, infectious diseases, health systems, health governance, gender, food security, and management of chronic disease. Our depth of experience also allows us to be responsive to USAID and host country needs in the areas of service delivery, health policy reform, community mobilization and individual behavior change, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building, and commodities system management.The CAMRIS Team includes:

  • CAMRIS International, (Prime Contractor) implements and transforms health services, systems and programs to improve the quality and availability of health services worldwide. CAMRIS has managed and implemented more than 1,300 projects and programs for more than 300 clients in nearly 50 countries in all regions of the world. Our experience spans more than 50 years, including over 40 years of continuous service to USAID and its predecessor, the Alliance for Progress, with projects ranging from small evaluation assignments, to complex bilateral health services implementation projects and indefinite quantity contracts. Our central focus is in global health, particularly in health systems organization and management, health finance, health governance and policy, basic services, infectious diseases, performance assessment, monitoring and evaluation, and the implementation of eHealth services.

  • Global Flu Consortium (GFC) focuses on a complete range of services to prepare and respond to global flu pandemics, including avian flu.

  • International Youth Foundation (IYF) is dedicated to capacity building of youth serving organizations, and scaling up best practices in HIV/AIDS individual behavior change models.

  • JHPIEGO, an affiliate of Johns Hopkins University, is a leader in increasing access and reducing barriers to high quality health care services through human resource capacity development. JHPIEGO enhances the skills of health care professionals and community providers through direct training and/or strengthening of learning systems, deployment of human resources, performance management focused on the application of standards-based quality improvement processes, and advancement of health care delivery systems. JHPIEGO's expertise encompasses work in policy advocacy, planning, accreditation and quality assurance, human resource administration, and outcomes/outputs monitoring. Core technical areas include, but are not limited to, family planning/reproductive health, MNH, HIV/AIDS and infectious diseases.

  • LTG Associates, Inc. (LTG) provides expertise in MCH, CSH, nutrition, infectious diseases, HIV/AIDS, health policy, conflict management and health, and health system reform.

  • Medical Missions for Children (MMC) is dedicated to improving the health of children and adults in underserved communities around the world. MMC runs a communications infrastructure, referred to as the Global Telemedicine and Teaching Network (GTTN), which connects medical specialists from the United States with attending physicians and their patients in developing countries through a video-based global telemedicine system. MMC reaches a vast global audience of millions of physicians and nurses, and thousands of hospitals and major universities.

  • National Alliance of State and Territorial AIDS Directors (NASTAD) provides peer-based technical assistance in monitoring and evaluation, community mobilization, evidence-based decision making, strategic planning, health policy reform, program management, and surveillance.

  • Public Health Institute (PHI) is recognized for its expert leadership in reproductive health, chronic and infectious diseases, youth leadership, population and the environment, HIV/AIDS prevention, and research.

  • Safe Blood International Foundation (Safe Blood) is dedicated to ensuring a safe blood supply through youth blood donor programs, behavior modification, blood donor recruitment, pre and post donation counseling training, laboratory quality assurance programs, and blood utilization training.

  • Tulane University's Payson Center for International Development and Technology Transfer is one of the world's leading centers of development and capacity building in the areas of infectious diseases, surveillance, epidemiology, nutrition, food security, health information systems, and evidence based public health.

  • University of the Pacific (UOP), School of International Studies (SIS) brings expertise in HIV/AIDS, infectious diseases, pharmaceuticals, food security, gender, and research.

  • University Research Co. (URC) is recognized for its capabilities in health systems strengthening, quality assurance, and workforce development.

  • West African Health Organization (WAHO) is an international organization representing the public health sectors in thirteen West African countries. WAHO strengthens programs in the region through capacity building, information, promoting cooperation, coordination and advocacy, and harnessing information technology to improve health outcomes.

  • World Learning for International Development (WLID) has extensive experience in grants management, capacity building, and training and exchange programs.

As the prime contractor, CAMRIS will ensure a seamless blending of these capabilities to effectively manage individual task orders in a quality, responsive, and cost-effective manner.
