We offer practical and proven approaches for TASC3 activities, with an emphasis on building local ownership and capacity for long-term sustainability, in close coordination with USAID. Our approach is guided by the following pillars:

  • Effective partnering to ensure maximum utilization of our rich array of institutional resources and those of stakeholder institutions

  • Proven management systems which ensure rapid start-up, sure-footed implementation, and achievement of demonstrable results

  • High-quality personnel and cutting edge, cost-conscious technical approaches and interventions to achieve impact and make a difference

  • Careful monitoring and measuring of results for each activity with an emphasis on capturing and disseminating knowledge and lessons learned

  • Commitment to building local capacity and institutions as a sustainability strategy and lasting legacy

Building on our existing successful collaboration, most of our current TASC2 partners are joining forces with us again. Our shared understanding of our respective strengths and our IQC management system will enable us to capitalize on efficiencies gained under TASC2. We selected our new partners for their technical fit with TASC3 requirements. Seven are small businesses and five are private voluntary/faith-based organizations, reflecting USAID's strong desire to have such organizations participate in mainstream health activities. The resulting consortium offers an exciting mix of known and new players that offer fresh, original approaches to global health. Chemonics International's partners include:
