Medical Service Corporation International (MSCI), a small business awardee under the TASC3 IQC, serves as the Managing Partner of the Health Science Technical Assistance and Research (HealthStar) Consortium. HealthStar is comprised of a diversified group of 21 organizations working in the international health field. The HealthStar Partners have considerable experience in the design, implementation and management of projects involving health sector reform; HIV/AIDS, TB, and malaria, treatment adherence and compliance; primary health care delivery; hospital and diagnostic services; continuing medical education; monitoring and evaluation; and human resources development.
Under MSCI's leadership, the member organizations of the HealthStar Consortium can provide a broad range of services through the TASC3 IQC to support USAID Missions and Bureaus in implementing strategic objectives. MSCI is a recognized leader in the effort to involve faith-based organizations and their networks of community-based volunteers and facilities in the improvement of health and the control of diseases such as HIV/AIDS, TB, and malaria.
