In response to the USAID Bureau of Global Health and USAID Missions need for rapid access to a wide range of technical assistance and support, PATH (www.path.org) has assembled an exceptional team of exclusive organizations, which includes the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, HLSP, the International Center for Equal Healthcare Access, the International HIV/AIDS Alliance, the International Rescue Committee, the International Training & Education Center on HIV at the University of Washington, and Westat.
PATH and its partners offer services which include:
- Incorporating rigorous monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities into their work, including building surveillance systems, developing indicators for new issues and interventions, building capacity for participatory monitoring and evaluation, and strengthening comprehensive bilateral projects.
- Responding quickly to diverse technical, functional, and geographical priorities.
- Leading an exceptional combination of nongovernmental, private-sector, academic, small business, and volunteer groups that provide a rich assortment of technical and programmatic expertise.
- Providing an extensive field presence that includes work in all regions of the world.
- Using our strong ties and successful working relationships with local, national, and regional organizations and donors.
PATH and its partners bring strong programmatic skills and experience in all TASC3 health areas, including family planning/reproductive health, maternal and neonatal health, child health and survival, HIV/AIDS, infectious disease, health systems, and research. All of the partners have worked extensively to build the capacity of country institutions in the developing world, which in turn has enabled them to develop and maintain relationships with host countries. This team offers USAID comprehensive skills and experience for its Missions and Bureaus, including outstanding management practices that yield results.

PATH improves the health of people around the world by advancing technologies, strengthening systems, and encouraging healthy behaviors. With demonstrated experience in all of the TASC3 technical and functional areas and experience leading IQCs, PATH offers rapid response and technical leadership.
PATH's exclusive subcontractors include:
- Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) whose work to strengthen the delivery of services to HIV-infected mothers, children, and their families is known worldwide with a presence in more than 18 countries.
- HLSP is an international professional services firm focused on improving health and reducing poverty worldwide, particularly in low- and middle-income countries.
- International Center for Equal Healthcare Access (ICEHA) strengthens service delivery by bringing volunteer medical expertise from the West to rapidly build the skills of local health care providers in developing countries. Focused on the HIV pandemic and infectious diseases, ICEHA's clinical mentors equip local health care professionals with the skills they need to provide the best care for their patients within the limitations of their settings.
- International HIV/AIDS Alliance (Alliance) builds the capacity of national organizations that provide grants and technical support to community-level partners who, in turn, scale up HIV/AIDS prevention, care, support, treatment, and advocacy activities.
- International Rescue Committee (IRC) provides services to refugees and communities affected by oppression or violent conflict worldwide. IRC specializes in emergency assistance, protection of human rights, child and youth protection, education, health care provision, postconflict development, advocacy, and resettlement services. IRC currently serves a population of over 10 million people.
- International Training & Education Center on HIV (I-TECH) leads a University of Washington (UW) consortium of multidisciplinary faculty and implementing partners with expertise in HIV/AIDS planning, clinical care and treatment, and capacity development through clinical training and infrastructure support. Its key implementing partners are Health Alliance International (at UW) and the global health team at University of California, San Francisco.
- Westat, founded in 1961, is a leading statistical survey research organization that offers skills and capacity-building expertise in custom research and program evaluation studies across a range of subjects.
